Splashdown’s voice.

Splashdown was a Super whose secret identity was an oceanographer. He had an obsession with finding the lost city of Atlantis.

Prior to the events of the film, he was involved in a suit malfunction which involved his cape being sucked into a vortex. It is unknown whether this killed him, since he is listed as missing in action in his NSA file.

Splashdown’s NSA audio file was rendered irretrievable due to water damage.

  • Splashdown is loosely based on Aquaman from the DC Comics.
  • Splashdown appears as a playable character in LEGO The Incredibles. He also makes a cameo appearance in the “Glory Days” level, where he uses his powers to flood a burning apartment building.
  • Splashdown may have been inspired by Walter Newell/ Stingray, a Marvel Comics superhero who is also an oceanographer with aquatic abilities and skills.
  • Because his NSA file lists him as missing in action, there is speculation that Splashdown could be one of the few golden age supers to still be alive because Edna Mode does not specify if he was killed being sucked into the vortex and he is not mentioned in the Project Kronos files.
