Syndrome's Guards are minor antagonists in The Incredibles. They are Syndrome's henchmen, who all share similar characteristics. They are armed with submachine guns and carry special security cards in Syndrome's base on Nomanisan Island.
Personalities[]
They possess several traits of Syndrome. They all are cold, have no regard for human life, are cowards when about to die, and don't hesitate to kill children.
Physical Appearance[]
The guards wear a very tight gray spandex suit, in addition to wearing a protective mask, which has a visor. This mask is secured to the sides of their head. They are also wearing rubber boots, and latex gloves, (which are probably sticky) and equipped with submachine guns.
Biography[]
The Incredibles[]
In The Incredibles, a guard is in the Manta Jet that transports Mr. Incredible from their island to fight against Omnidroid v.8. Many security guards were killed or injured when the Incredibles infiltrated Syndrome's base in Nomanisan and for good reason by trying to kill children without regret.
Two guards were thrown into the water by Mr. Incredible and two more were killed when Mr. Incredible threw a vehicle at them. Mr. Incredible throws a coconut at a guard, hitting him in the head, knocking him unconscious. Elastigirl also encountered and evaded five of them, first by punching two in the face when her waist was trapped by sliding doors, one guard touched her waist with his weapon and Elastigirl kicked his face with her leg so hard that he almost lost all his teeth and lost control of his weapon firing bullets, one of which touched a button which opened the doors, causing her body to slam two more other guards with her legs. She then hid most of the unconscious guards in a locker. Several guards were killed while trying to capture Dash and Violet.
Towards the end of the film, Mr. Incredible beats up some guards inside a caravan so he can take it for his family. The fate of the guards still remaining at the base after Syndrome's death is that they were all incarcerated by the government as stated by Rick Dicker "We've frozen all of Syndrome's assets."
Trivia[]
- The Wilhelm scream can be heard when the family take out some of the guards after they reunite.
